  1. Solar Power Plant

 

 

        Cantonment Board has initiated a proposal for setting up of a 11 KW solar power plant at a cost of Rs. 35 lakhs in ‘Pragati Bhawan’ (the new office complex of Cantt Board) to enable the use of solar electric power in the functioning of the office. The Cantonment Board being a public office is frequented by lot of people day in day out and is the focal point of civic administration of the Cantonment. The Cantt Board wanted to use solar power as an alternative to the conventional sources to run the cantt Board office as a significant measure to spread the awareness of solar power as a potential source of renewable energy and to promote its use.
