The Cantonment Board, Barrackpore has developed a beautiful park known as Mangal Pandey Park on the banks of river Hooghly. Besides, the Board is maintaining gardens in office, hospital, schools and pump houses. Also Cantonment Board has developed two other parks in civil area. The Cantonment Board carries out afforestation from time to time.
