Transfer of Properties Citizens Responsibilities Before purchasing any properties within Cantonment, enquiry may be made in the cantonment Board office the name of Holder of Occupancy rights of the property, clearance of tax and other Cantonment dues and granting of permission to the HOR to transfer the said property. In the transfer Deed it is to be ensured that only super structure is transferred and rights on land remains with the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence.
